The raised front part of the floor Surfer supports the coccyx when the child is sitting and the sternum when child is lying down.
The Floor Surfer is slightly tapered at the front to give increased freedom of movement for the child’s arms and the wheels are screened to minimise the risk of running over the child’s fingers. Quality wheels with double ball bearings and non-smudging wheels in clear PU.

What we think: Beautiful, comfortable and functional scooter board for seated and lying down positions. This board can be found in many occupational therapists rooms and schools and you can see why – they have thought of everything! Yes, it’s a little more expensive than the standard scooter board but it’s attractive to children and is extremely comfortable which means they will want to play with this without encouragement – willing therapy is always appreciated by parents of children with Dyspraxia!

The best scooter board available for your dyspraxic child

I particularly like the way that this board is tapered at the front to allow improved freedom of arm movement – really important for those Dyspraxic children who may have missed the crawling phase of their childhood development. I’d like to encourage more schools to take up floor surfing in their sports halls to help improve balance and upper body strength to support early handwriters. Top quality, highly durable four wheeled fun and therapy.
