Alpha Catch is the fast-paced physical way to practise letter names and sounds. Take turns tossing self-stick balls, catching them with sticky catchers mitts, and playing fun phonics games about the letters on each ball.
Good little shoulder workout too to develop some gross motor skills as well as eye hand coordination and motor planning.
I wish there more fun ways to learn at school . Oli’s Spanish teacher teaches like this in her class, it’s amazing how many of them knew their words after the very first lesson!
For ages 4+ but goes to a high upper age due to the phonics and word making ability of this set. Still good play factor even after the phonics are mastered! Pack it in the beach bag for some holiday mind-refreshers that many of our Dyspraxic kids need between school terms.
